Under the overall direction of Julian Alston and Philip Pardey, four
pre-conference policy workshops and a learning workshop are being developed.
The policy workshops are scheduled for Saturday 12 August, 2006 and
will run in parallel, with some shared sessions among the workshops.
They are explicitly designed to attract government, industry, and other
participants in addition to IAAE delegates.
These sessions will deal with contemporary policy issues and cutting-edge economic
methods in ways that complement or add to the themes of focus for the main conference.
The objective is to attract a world class group of speakers, and early indications
are that each session will feature an outstanding set of presenters.

available for all main conference sessions.
