International Association of Agricultural Economists

The International Association of Agricultural Economists (IAAE) is a worldwide confederation of agricultural economists and others concerned with agricultural economic problems, including problems related to the use of renewable resources and the environment. Its broad goal is to make a difference through:

  • Fostering the application of agricultural economics to improve rural economic and social conditions.
  • Advancing knowledge of agriculture's economic organization.
  • Facilitating communication and information exchange among those concerned with rural welfare.

Call for IAAE Secretary-Treasurer

Any IAAE member interested in serving as Secretary-Treasurer should submit an application, including a 300-500 word statement of their perspective on future opportunities and directions for the IAAE, by June 30, 2014 IAAE@execinc.com. Click HERE for more information.

Call for Co-Editor of Agricultural Economics

The IAAE Board is now seeking formal expressions from individuals who would like to serve a 6-year term as co-editor of Agricultural Economics, beginning in 2015. Members are invited to click HERE for more information.

IAAE Triennial Conference

The IAAE has a triennial conference held in major cities around the world and typically attracting nearly 1,000 delegates from developed and developing countries.
